Just a quick something about what's going on in my life

Things have been a bit up and down lately. Nothing major on either spectrum. I got to play with the UMD pep band again two Saturdays ago, and it was fun, tho a little bizarre to just be tossed back into a group of people I haven't seen in a long time. Got drunk that night for Lee's birthday, and ended up hanging out with my ex, Crystal at the bar, which was unexpected but a good time. The night before that I was in DC visiting Matt, Laura, and Pat, and we went to dinner and had an interesting night, but it was great fun as usual. Had vacation last week, and basically didn't do too much. Highlights include saving close to $100 on clothes at Old Navy, seeing MMW front row with Jim, and spending some time with Justin. Only "bad" things that happened were that I was on and off depressed and I was supposed to gig with this blues guitarist, but it got cancelled. Now I'm back to grind of work, which really isn't that bad. Classes have been good, tho I have work that's been piling up, and need to take care of it, which I started doing tonight. I have an overdue book that I'm reading, and need to renew. I had dinner with a girl I met online in NYC; wasn't a bad time, but I don't think I'm going to be talking to her again. I've been in (sort of) communication with this girl I met through myspace; she lives two towns from me and gave me her number, only problem is that I've called the number a few times, got no answer, and haven't gotten a response to the message I left her on the machine or from the email I sent the other day. My hopes are not high, as typical, but I'm not giving up unless I get no response from her for over a week. At that point, I just won't waste my time. As for my car, it's still running, and I'm still looking to sell it and buy a new one. Basically I'm waiting for the new Honda FIT to come out and see if that'll be the car for me. If not, I'll probably just get a Matrix. The Terps' men's basketball team is sucking major balls, so it's a good thing I gave up on them about a month ago. Seriously, they suck. They aren't playing very good basketball at all, in any shape or form. It's depressing, but at least I can cope with it. The women, however, are kicking major ass, and I'm pretty upset I didn't have a chance to see them play in person this year. They are serious Final Four contenders, and I will be following them closely.

Outlook for March: nothing special really coming up, so I'm hoping something will pop up and make it interesting.

Peace.
